Our university was established on July 11, 1992, by Law No. 3837 under the name "Zonguldak Karaelmas University" and gained legal entity on January 1, 1993. The Department of Construction Works and Technical Affairs began its activities on May 5, 1993, following the appointment of the Head of the Department.
