ENERGY POLICY

As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we commit to conducting our activities within the framework of an energy management system based on continuous improvement and in compliance with national and international legal regulations and standards, by ensuring the necessary resources and infrastructure. In this context, we aim to:

• Always comply with legal requirements, and reduce energy costs by adapting existing practices to energy-efficient and low operating cost technologies,
• Protect energy resources and the environment by separating recyclable waste and eliminating other waste,
• Set goals and objectives to continuously improve the efficiency of our energy management system and its performance, and align our processes accordingly,
• Provide the necessary information and resources to achieve our energy-related goals and objectives,
• Continuously review and improve the activities and performance of the Energy Management System in accordance with national and international standards,
• Educate our staff on energy savings and efficiency, and promote habits that support the efficient use of energy,
• Contribute to sustainable production by following technological advancements and innovations, purchasing energy-efficient products and services, and ensuring the efficient use of energy and materials,
• Support our stakeholders by providing them with information and increasing awareness to ensure the efficient use of energy in line with our energy policy.
